Plans Submitted For 600 New Homes In Argyll And Bute

Plans have been submitted to build 600 new homes in Argyll and Bute.

Link Group is proposing to develop the new housing as part of an expansion to existing communities in Dunbeg and Ganavan.

The 'Dunbeg Development Corridor Masterplan' aims to create a series of new neighbourhoods, acting as a catalyst for new shops, cafes and community uses, including creating areas for expanded commercial activity.

The first 75 'affordable' homes have already been completed on the site in partnership with Link's subsidiary West Highland Housing Association.

Colin Culross, Director of Development and Asset Management, added: "Link looks forward to delivering this Masterplan, and working in partnership with Argyll & Bute Council and the Scottish Government to significantly improve the economic prospects and housing choices for the local community."
