CCG has started work to build a new car showroom in Ayr.

The facility is being built for Park's Motor Group and completion is scheduled for summer 2017.

Up to 50 jobs will be created by the development, which will be located on Heathfield Road adjacent to Jaguar and Land Rover's current showroom on the corner of Heathfield Road and Lochfield Road.

Features will include a glass fronted showroom and open landscaping to the sides of the building. CCG will also carry out landscaping of the pavements and outdoor areas.

Arc-Tech will also provide various M&E services on the project which includes design, installation and commission.

Calum Murray, Director of CCG (Scotland) said: "It is a real privilege to continue our work with Park's Motor Group as we get this state-of-the-art site underway. The new showroom has been designed with exceptional aesthetic merit and the end result will offer customers an immersive experience of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

"This project will require strict construction management protocols to ensure safe and effective work while operating on one of the main thoroughfares through the town. We look forward to working in partnership with Park's Motor Group working to full construction delivery in summer 2017."
