Scottish Borders Council has launched a consultation on developing a local housing plan for the region.
The draft Local Housing Strategy has been developed with a range of partners including local Registered Social Landlords. It sets out the future vision for housing and housing-related services in the area from 2017 – 2022.
Following the consultation, the document will be finalised and submitted to Scottish Ministers for formal approval in November.
Councillor Frances Renton said: "We have been working with partners across the Scottish Borders over the past six months to develop an ambitious vision and priorities for action over the next five years, but want to make sure that local people, communities and organisations have their say on them and help to shape the final strategy."
