Wates Living Space has delivered a new £3.5 million housing development in North Lanarkshire.
A total of 25 homes have been built on the site of a former 17-storey tower block in Motherwell.
The scheme forms part of the council's NL Homes £172m investment to develop 1,150 new homes across the region and the Scottish Government awarded £1.25 towards the projects development costs.
Each new home has solar panels installed to provide energy efficiency and reduce running costs for tenants. Other development features include parking spaces and garden areas.
Deputy Council Leader, Paul Kelly, said: "I'm delighted to officially opening this fantastic new housing development at the former Glencairn Tower site.
"NL Homes, supports our vision to provide affordable, good quality homes within safe and sustainable communities for the people of North Lanarkshire. In addition, our investment also supports the building industry and provides local employment opportunities.
"We're committed to investing and supporting new house building across the area and will continue making a positive difference to the lives of our tenants."
