Resurfacing works are due to begin on a major road in Inverclyde, it has been announced.
Workers are set to start repairing the A770 Albert Road in Gourock on 21 May.
The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday, 03 June.
Cllr Michael McCormick said: "The council is carrying out a programme of resurfacing work on roads across Inverclyde. The work planned at Albert Road in Gourock will deliver a much improved road surface on a very busy stretch of road."
The scheme is part of the council's roads investment strategy.
