Multi-technical services provider SPIE UK is to move into a new office block in South Lanarkshire, it has been announced.
The company is relocating to the top two floors of the four-storey One Rutherglen Links building.
The £5 million facility was built by regeneration firm Clyde Gateway in 2014.
It is part of a long-term plan to renovate the town centre and the Shawfield Industrial Estate, together with other areas of vacant/derelict land in the east of Glasgow.
Will Smith, MD of SPIE UK Multi-Technical Services, said: "SPIE is looking forward to becoming an occupant of this quality development and expanding its Scottish business from this excellent location."
Ian Manson, the Chief Executive of Clyde Gateway, added: "There has been a great deal of interest shown in One Rutherglen Links over the past 18 months or so since its completion with a number of interested parties making serious enquiries about the building which was constructed in a way that could allow it be either a major headquarters building or sub-divided into various smaller units.
"It was our belief from the outset that an office of this size, and with such high technical and environmentally friendly specifications, would merit the status of an HQ and so it has proved with SPIE taking the top two floors and more than half of the 4,000 square metres of space available."
