Councillors in Perth & Kinross have been advised by planning officials to approve proposals for a housing development in Perth.
Bellway Homes has submitted a planning application to build 164 homes on a 14.5 hectare site west of Cherrybank Gardens.
The application is the first for three stages of a larger 200-property development.
A mix of housing types are proposed, including semi-detached, terraced units and flatted blocks.
The council's Development Quality Manager, Nick Brian, said: "This report recommends approval of the application for a development comprising 164 residential units as the development proposals are considered to comply with the relevant provisions of the Development Plan and there are no material considerations apparent which would outweigh the Development Plan."
