Proposals to build a housing project in Moray have been approved by councillors.
Contractor Tulloch of Cummingston is set to build 261 properties at Sunbank in Lossiemouth.
However, the proposals received over 60 objections from members of the public living near to the development site, which can only be accessed via a residential road and two cul-de-sacs.
Councillor Mike McConachie moved that the application be granted but that no construction traffic be allowed to access the site.
In addition, Councillor Douglas Ross suggested the application be refused to allow the developers to resubmit proposals for access to the site to be taken off the A941 and B9135 both during and after the construction phase.
With the vote tied at five each, committee chairman Councillor Chris Turke used his casting vote in favour of Councillor McConachie's motion.
