South Lanarkshire Council has announced roadworks are scheduled to take place this weekend.
Essential traffic signal and pedestrian upgrading works will take place at Motherwell Road roundabout and Palace Grounds Road in Hamilton.
The approach roads will be subject to lane closures for certain periods of the works from 8am on 5 September to 13 September.
During the roadworks, the roundabout will revert to a conventional operation with approaching traffic required to give-way to traffic on the roundabout.
Pedestrians will be required to use the adjacent signalised crossings such as those at Townhead Street. Pedestrian signage will also be in place.
Councillor Christ Thompson said: "These works are essential to upgrade the traffic signal equipment at these locations."
