Angus Council has announced a programme of roadworks is scheduled to begin.
Work to repair and maintain the roads in Kirriemuir town centre will start today 24 August.
The surfacing works are anticipated to last approximately seven weeks and will take place in Glengate, St Malcolm's Wynd and High Street.
A programme of varying road closures will be in place during the project with diversions to be signed in the area.
The project will be undertaken in phases and begins with road re-surfacing in St Malcolms Wynd and then in Glengate, followed by the cobbles (red setts) being lifted, repaired and re-established in High Street.
Access from Bank Street will only be available to the south in the first phase of the cobble work and to the north during the second phase.
