Aberdeenshire Council has announced a section of the A947 will be closed for resurfacing works.
The closure will start on 24 August between 9am - 4pm from Monday to Friday.
Works will be carried out on a 500 metre stretch of road between Hatton Lodge and Lower Woodtown, south of Turriff, costing approximately £125,000.
Northbound traffic will be diverted via A947, B992, B9001 and B9024.
Southbound traffic will be diverted via B9170 to New Deer and Oldmeldrum.
Philip McKay, Head of Roads and Landscape Services, said: "The A947 resurfacing works have been planned for some time and scheduled to take place during off-peak hours, when traffic volumes are lower, to minimise disruption."
