Hub East Central Scotland has completed two refurbishment projects at Falkirk Community Hospital.
The £2.9 million schemes will provide mental health day care facilities along with an additional community hospital inpatient ward.
The facilities are the result of a refurbishment programme for Wards 18 and 19 at Falkirk Community Hospital.
The area has been converted into the Woodlands Resource Centre, providing a range of services as well as a base for local mental health and social care staff.
The refurbishment of the former Ward 1 (now known as Unit 5) provides additional inpatient accommodation at Falkirk Community Hospital for people.
Gary Bushnell, Chief Executive, Hub East Central Scotland, said: "Our team successfully managed these projects to ensure that they were delivered within tight timescales and budget constraints, without compromise in the quality of the refurbishment. The new facilities at Falkirk Community Hospital provide a modern environment designed to meet the specific needs of patients."
