West Dunbartonshire Council has announced it has achieved the national housing standard after a successful multimillion pound contribution.
The council has reached the Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS) target for more than 9400 homes after an £81 million investment.
The project included replacing 1,700 bathrooms and 800 kitchens, along with upgrading hundreds of central heating systems.
Council teams completed 7,300 of electrical upgrades and carried out improvements to 2,600 roofs and buildings.
Councillor David McBridge said: "The size of this project cannot be overstated. It was a huge task and one which required extensive efforts by hundreds of our staff. I’m delighted that we are now in this position today."
