Albyn Housing has announced the first phase of work has began on a housing development in Alness.
The £4.7 million Dalmore development will deliver 37 new homes with a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties.
Works on the site are being completed by O'Brien Properties on behalf of Albyn and the Highland Council.
A range of Highland Consultants, including Bracewell Stirling, Horner & Maclennan, Cameron & Ross, KLM Partnership and Armour & Partners will work alongside O’Brien Properties.
Calum Macaulay, Chief Executive at Albyn, said: "At a time of heavily reduced funding for affordable housing developments, we are delighted construction is now underway at Dalmore."
The company was able to secure £1.4 million in funding from the Scottish Government for its low-cost home ownership scheme (LIFT).
