Esh Border Construction has announced the completion of a £3.7 million extension of a food production facility in Dumfries and Galloway.
The company delivered the project for pâté manufacturers Castle MacLellan Foods.
A new freezer building with a dry goods facility was developed, as well as a goods-in area, a distribution corridor, additional storage buildings and staff areas.
The project began in January 2014 and was completed in October, with the expansion officially opening earlier this month.
John Wilkinson, Construction Director at Esh Border, said: "There were many unique challenges for Esh Border Construction on this project.
"Certainly, maintaining an operational facility while redevelopment works took place is no mean feat.
"Castle MacLellan continued operations right the way through, even when the new services were going in, and we’re pleased that through our collaborative approach, we were able to help them achieve that."
