Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar has revealed the Local Performance Indicators (LPIs) for the Building Standards Section of the council for February, compared with the most recent average for the current financial year.

During February, 85.71% of building warrant applications were responded to within 15 days, showing a drop on the overall April 2014 - February 2015 average of 89.27%.

Last month 95.24% of building warrants were issued within six days of receiving satisfactory drawings, also down on the financial year average of 96.21%.

In February just 57.89% of completion applications were responded to within nine days, compared with 72.5% from April 2014.

100% of completion certificates were issued within three days last month, compared to 97.36% achieved so far during the current financial year.
