A consultation is to be held by Forestry Commission Scotland next week outlining the future of Ittingstone and Culdrain.
The event will take place on Wednesday 18 February at Stewarts Hall in Huntly, from 9am to 6pm. The drop-in session will allow for the local community to view and comment on draft land management plans for both sites.
David Henderson, Forestry Commission Scotland, said: "There is quite a bit of interest in these sites amongst the local community and we have consulted and taken a range of views and aspirations for the sites into account.
"Consultees are invited to come along and discuss the plans on the day with members of the planning team.
"A great deal of work has gone in to developing proposals that makes optimum use of both Ittingstone and Culdrain and which illustrates how effectively sites can integrate and sustain a variety of different land uses."
