Clackmannanshire Council is above average in providing housing stock, meeting the Scottish Housing Quality Standard with 90.8% against a Scottish average of 84.4%, according to its first Scottish Social Housing Charter Report to Tenants .

The report found the Council is the best performer in Scotland for average time taken to complete an emergency repair, with 1.91 hours compared to the Scottish average of 7.4 hours.

83% of tenants were satisfied with the management of their neighbourhood, compared to a Scottish average of 72%.

77.1% of tenants were satisfied with the standard of their home when moving in, compared to the Scottish average of 74.6%.

£8.75m was invested in housing stock in Clackmannanshire during 2014, bringing a total of £21.4m invested in just three years.

Councillor Les Sharp, Convener of Housing, Health and Social Care said: "The Housing and Community Safety team put tenants and customer at the heart of everything they do, and this report highlights some of the excellent work that has been carried out.
