Forestry Commission Scotland has said its car park at Scolty will be closed from 10 to 12 September.
The facility is necessary in order to allow urgent repairs to be carried out to the access road at the site, which is around one mile south west of Banchory.
Dan Cadle, from the Commission's team in the area, explained: "We did some harvesting in the area earlier this year, which normally would have been fine, but with the addition of heavy rain into the mix, the road sustained some damage. We need to get this fixed as soon as we can so that visitors can get to Scolty easily and safely.
"It will cause some inconvenience while the work is being done – and we apologise for this – but I think everyone will appreciate the difference once we're done."
