A public consultation is to be held by Angus Council to discuss the future of Reid Hall.
Reid Hall is one of Forfar's most famous features but the future development of the building is uncertain. Work is required on the property, but due to insufficient budget, it cannot be fully undertaken.
On this basis, the local authority has decided to consult with the local community in order to agree on a prioritisation of the project works. It will also allow residents to share their views of any other work required on the hall. Following this, the feedback will allow a master plan to be developed for the building's future, with the current budget to be directed towards priority areas determined by the community's responses.
The plans, as well as where to provide feedback, can be found here.
Angus Council has said the deadline for feedback is 31 July 2014.
