A 19th Century bridge has been restored to its former glory following a refurbishment programme.
Work to restore the Linlathen West Bridge in the city began last year.
The programme of improvements was undertaken by contractors GL Residential, on behalf of developer Clearwater Park.
The historic bridge consists of four cast-iron arched ribs and is decorated with circular motifs, balustrades and cornices. It has been finished off with a protective coating to help maintain its condition.
The bridge has already reopened allowing local residents to use it once again.
Councillor Bill Campbell, Depute City Development Convener, said: "I'm delighted the bridge is back in use following its refurbishment. I hope locals will be able to benefit from it for years to come."
