The Hillcrest Group has appointed Angela Linton to the post of group chief executive, Scottish Housing News has said.
Ms Linton has worked with Hillcrest for the last 10 years, and most recently, was in the role of deputy chief executive.
She will take on her new post early in 2014 from John Mulloy who is retiring.
Commenting on the appointment, Angela said: "I am delighted to be given this opportunity to lead such a diverse Group of Companies, to ensure that we remain a leader in our sector and to explore new ways of working to overcome the many obstacles that an organisation of our kind faces.
"Having worked with John for a number of years I know I have big shoes to fill but I am looking forward to the challenge."
Val Howard, Hillcrest Housing Association's chairperson, congratulated Angela on her new post: "The Board of Committee and I are confident that we've appointed the right person for the job and have recruited a worthy successor. Angela brings a wealth of experience to the post and her time as deputy chief executive within the Group will ensure the transition is a seamless one.
"I would like to pass on my own personal congratulations to Angela and know that myself and my fellow Board of Committee members are looking forward to working with her and leading this great organisation that we are all involved with."
