A public consultation regarding what should be included in the new multi-million pound community sports facility planned for the area is to end next week.
At a meeting in January, Aberdeenshire Councillor's agreed to include the project in the authority's Capital Plan. Since then, local people have been working hard to raise substantial funds for the scheme, while the Council has been working alongside local community groups, businesses and the land owner to help the plans come to fruition.
Aberdeenshire Council is now keen to hear from locals as to what they want included in the new facility.
A paper copy of the survey is available from Banchory Community Centre, Banchory Sports Centre and Banchory Library.
The consultation will end on Friday 31 August.
Once this initial consultation is complete, it will be followed up with a Stakeholder meeting to view plans developed as a result of the findings.
There will then be a wider community event in November to unveil the proposed plans for the new facility.
