Plans for the development of a new community campus at Forfar Academy have taken another step this week after Angus Council unveiled the concept designs for the site.
The local authority is now inviting locals to an event at the school on Thursday 22 August at 7pm to view and provide feedback on the development proposals.
The plans will also be displayed in the school, Forfar Library, Lochside Leisure Centre and Forfar Swimming Pool from 23 August to 23 September to give as many people as possible the opportunity to get involved with the consultation.
Education Convener Sheena Welsh said: "I hope the local community will take the opportunity to view these plans, and give their views as we work together to develop more detailed proposals for the site."
The designs and background information on the project are available from the Angus Council website.
The £33m community campus project will incorporate a state-of-the-art secondary school, a new swimming pool and sports facilities for use by the school and the wider community.
