Alba/SB, based in Angus, is celebrating after collecting gold, silver and bronze awards at the prestigious Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) Awards, held last night on Sunday 5 February at The De Vere Grand Hotel, Brighton.

The gold award was given to Alba/SB, for In-Ground Commercial Spas and Health Pools in recognition of the company’s outstanding design and construction of the award winning pool.

Stephen Booth from Alba/SB commented: "We are really delighted with our win at the 2012 SPATA awards. Receiving this accolade is a testament to our team’s continued hard work over the past 12 months."

The awards, organised by SPATA, who represent over 180 specialist pool companies across the UK, including some overseas members, highlights the achievements of the pool industry by showcasing the best examples of construction, design and innovation.

Chris Hayes, Managing Director of SPATA said: "This year proved to be incredibly popular, creating tough decisions for the judges with a shortlist of 133 entries across 21 categories.
