Mark Simpson has joined BDP’s Design group as a Director to strengthen BDP’s design leadership and help in work winning.

Mark, who comes from HKS Architects, has 25 years’ experience in interior design having worked for a variety of established architects and design firms – including BDP in the mid 80s - as well as being self employed for fifteen years.


Although his work spans a variety of sectors his core experience lies in corporate and commercial fit out and retail design which fits well with BDP’s portfolio. His CV includes work for Avon Cosmetics, BBC, First Data and DAKS Simpson.

Martin Cook, Chair of Design at BDP, said: "I am delighted Mark has returned to BDP. I have known him for over 20 years and know he brings great creative and commercial strength to the practice."

Mark is a well known and respected figure in his field, he regularly judges design competitions and writes for the design press. He brings with him a great many market connections.
