£1 Million Deals For Discovery Roofing

Montrose-based roofing and facilities management company, Discovery Roofing & Cladding Ltd has reported deals worth £1 million in the last six months.

The company has won business in Aberdeenshire, Angus and Tayside, including work on Dundee and Montrose swimming pools, and projects at Albyn School for Girls in Aberdeen, Banchory Business Centre and the Michelin factory in Dundee.

Other recently completed projects include the trams depot in Edinburgh, Aberdeen College’s Altens campus, G Casino in Dundee and an oil service company at Westhill.

Derek Wann who bought over the company earlier this year said: “These results have been achieved against an uncertain economic backdrop and show the strength and talent we have in our team at Discovery Roofing & Cladding Ltd.

“Our company deals with all the major contractors in Scotland and we are looking to expand over the next few years.”

Discovery Roofing & Cladding Ltd employs 15 staff and has created five jobs in 2010. Hopes are high that additional posts will be created in 2012 and beyond.

Established in 1991, Discovery Roofing & Cladding Ltd is an installer and supplier of industrial and commercial roofing and wall cladding.
