Fife Council's transportation services will shortly be carrying out major carriageway resurfacing works on Wellesley Road in Methil from White Swan Brae to Sandwell Street.
Work is programmed to commence on Monday 13 June, 2011, and is expected to be complete by Wednesday 29 of June, 2011.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the improvement works. All local businesses will be operating as usual during the upgrade.
Alistair Donald, Surfacing Co-ordinator for Transportation Services, commented: "This upgrade of Wellesley Road is being carried out as part of our commitment to improving the condition of Fife's road network.
"Although delays can be expected due to temporary traffic lights, disruption will be kept to a minimum and the completed road surface will offer a much improved driving surface for many years."
