Work is underway in Nairn to construct Sainsburys most northerly store to date.
This store which will have a full and varied range of products will be built by Barr Construction at Balmakeith just off the A96.
There will also be a new fuel filling station which will be a welcomed addition for the people of Nairn as well as passing traffic.
During the construction of store and filling station they will also be upgrading the road network with an introduction of a new roundabout at Tom Semple Road which will ease entering and exiting this new development, other junctions throughout the town will have new traffic lights introduced which will be linked to the existing thus allowing cars waiting to turn right ( local traffic ) an easier flow during peak times.
The store , filling station and all highway works will be complete late July early August and all will be achieved with the minimum disruption to the local community.
