Three intrepid lawyers from international law firm, HBJ Gateley Wareing, are set to put their best feet forward with a 165-foot abseil off the Forth Rail Bridge.
Kay Price, Caroline Brodie and Claudia Barron, in the firm’s construction team, will be stepping off the Bridge on Sunday 6th June to raise money for charity, Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS). CHSS is responsible for improving the quality of life for people in Scotland affected by chest, heart and stroke illness through medical research, advice and information.
The firm has a strong commitment in delivering a robust corporate social responsibility programme which includes a number of fundraising initiatives and environmental and community involvement projects planned throughout 2010.
In October abseilers raised over £57,500 to support the work of CHSS throughout Scotland
Kay said: “This is indeed a terrifying challenge but is for a fantastic cause. As a firm we have a well-established corporate social responsibility programme and are delighted to help worthy causes such as this.”
