Acting on behalf of a private client, Knight Frank's building consultancy team has completed the refurbishment and extension of a 19th century coach house in Aberdeen to create accommodation for an occupational health practice.
Knight Frank provided design and project management services to transform The Coach House, Carden Place.
The project involved the construction of a contemporary two-storey extension to the original building and the complete refurbishment of the coach house.
The new accommodation provides modern space, including two consultation rooms on the lower floor and the provision of internal stairs, toilet facilities and a kitchen.
Well-Being Occupational Health Consultancy has taken a ten year lease on the building in a deal brokered by Knight Frank’s agency team on behalf of the landlords.
Grant Hendry, building surveyor, Knight Frank said: "It was rewarding to work on reviving an unused local building into modern and functional accommodation in the city's West End.
"We have taken great care to maintain the original coach house while the new extension provides much-needed extra floor space. The location of the premises, combined with the quality of accommodation make this a desirable property for the tenant."
