Sanctuary Scotland, a leading housing provider, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The Association, a registered Scottish charity and member of Sanctuary Group marked the occasion with an event last night at The Lighthouse, Scotland's Centre for Architecture, Design and the City in Glasgow.
Gordon Laurie, Director of Sanctuary Scotland, said: "We are delighted to be celebrating a decade as one of Scotland's leading housing providers. We have achieved so much over the years, including the transformation of areas of Glasgow, Dundee and Paisley through multi-million pound regeneration projects.
"We look forward to the next ten years, working with our residents and partners to continue to create thriving communities where people are proud to live."
Around 75 guests attended the event, including representatives from organisations which have supported the work of Sanctuary Scotland over the years as well as the Association's staff and chairperson Kenneth Gibb.
One of the Sanctuary Scotland's most notable achievements over the last decade has been the Ardler Village in Dundee, which is one of the largest urban regeneration projects in Scotland. The former council properties and dilapidated tower blocks have been replaced by almost 1,000 high quality new homes, the majority of which are for rent, retail and community facilities.
This seven-year multi-million pound project has breathed new life into this estate and won major awards, including the British Urban Regeneration Association award for best practice in regeneration.
