Miller Developments is taking an innovative approach to reaching potential customers within the commercial property sector by creating its first dedicated sales and marketing suite for the eight new office pavilions at Alba Business Park, Livingston.
The companies new on-site sales and marketing suite is permanently staffed and open Monday to Friday, 11.30am-5pm, to provide information and advice to customers interested in purchasing or leasing a unit within the Alba Business Pavilions, without the need for an appointment.
Neil Finnie, Miller Developments, said: "Our new sales and marketing suite marks a departure from the usual approach taken towards marketing within the commercial property sector but we believe it will allow us to offer a more accessible, personal service to potential clients. We feel our customers will be better served by the dedicated suite, particularly those considering ownership where a substantial investment is involved.
"Alba Business Park continues to be the prime business park location in Livingston, attracting several new tenants during 2008. The flexibility of the units within our new pavilions and the range of sizes available means they will appeal to a range of occupiers, from business start-ups to established businesses planning expansion. We anticipate strong demand for the product from both owner occupiers and potential tenants alike."
The sales and marketing suite will be managed by Charlynne Christie who has joined Miller Developments to take up the position of Sales Adviser.
Charlynne previously ran a sales and marketing consultancy, prior to which she was director of sales and marketing at the Caledonian Hilton Hotel in Edinburgh and general manager of the city's Royal Terrace Hotel.
Located just off the M8 near Livingston, West Lothian, the Alba Business Pavilions provides 31,500sq ft of office space in a courtyard setting. The buildings feature fully flexible floorplates and, depending on size, occupiers can choose from terraced, semi-detached or detached properties. Suites range from 1,700 sq ft to 8,810 sq ft.
Work on the pavilion development began in November 2008 and is expected to be completed by September 2008.
Situated within a parkland setting with water features, Alba Business Park covers 96 acres and has already attracted companies including Scottish Water, NEC Computers, Canon, Epson and Plexus. The Park offers a wide range of facilities including a restaurant, lecture theatre and nursery on site, with a Bannatynes gym located directly adjacent to the park.
The Alba Business Pavilions is one of a number of ongoing developments at Alba Business Park, including Quintiles' £7.5m, 132,000 sq ft development of a pharmaceuticals research centre.
