Retrofit and energy-efficiency specialist Procast Group has joined Heat Network Scotland, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the transition to low-carbon heat and helping accelerate Scotland's journey towards net zero.
Heat Network Scotland brings together industry, housing providers, academics, and government to share best practice, encourage collaboration, and support the growth of heat networks across Scotland. Operating as an independent voice for the sector, the organisation works to influence policy and drive the adoption of sustainable heating solutions.
By joining the organisation, Procast Group aims to strengthen its collaboration with stakeholders leading the development of low-carbon heat infrastructure. As a business delivering large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation projects, Procast Group will contribute practical experience, technical expertise, and industry insights to support initiatives that deliver energy-efficient homes and buildings.
Derek Innes, Group Managing Director at Procast Group, said: "We are delighted to become a member of Heat Network Scotland and to join an organisation that brings together industry, housing providers, academics and government officials to accelerate the decarbonisation of heat.
"What appealed to us is the ambition to create a collaborative environment where members can share what works in practice, contribute to important policy discussions and collectively support the transition to low-carbon heat.
"We look forward to working alongside fellow members, sharing our experience and contributing to the development of practical, sustainable heat solutions that deliver lasting benefits for communities across Scotland."
Antoine Reguis, Founding Director of Heat Network Scotland, added: "Heat Network Scotland is delighted to welcome Procast among its members. Heat Network Scotland brings together all the key stakeholders interested in or impacted by the development of heat networks across Scotland.
