The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) will be on hand at All-Energy to advise businesses on how to compete for energy sector contracts, as it sponsors and exhibits at the event on 13 and 14 May at the SEC in Glasgow.
On day one, SDP Programme Manager Gillian Cameron will deliver a keynote in the Future Talent Theatre from 9.45–10.15am focused on finding and bidding for public-sector energy contracts. The session will also outline how SDP events help suppliers connect with buyers and identify subcontracting routes.
Later on day one, from 1.50–2.50pm, Gillian will join the Energy Supply Chain in Transition panel to discuss keeping supply chains local, the effects of uncertainty on regional economies, and how to build long-term supply chain resilience.
With more than 300 exhibitors, All-Energy provides extensive networking opportunities. SDP will be at stand S48 to highlight partner organisations with live and upcoming energy projects that suppliers can pursue.
Balfour Beatty Power: SDP works closely with Balfour Beatty Power, which holds a place on SP Energy Networks' transmission business Strategic Agreement for Overhead Line Works, a five-year framework valued at £5.4bn. Suppliers interested in supporting the installation of new overhead line conductor systems across Central and Southern Scotland are encouraged to visit the SDP stand.
Government Commercial Agency: Another SDP partner, the Government Commercial Agency (GCA), formerly known as Crown Commercial Service, currently has a Demand Management & Renewables Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) out to tender. Designed to support the public sector's Net Zero strategy, this DPS covers services such as design and feasibility, installation, servicing and maintenance, and decommissioning. Details will be available at stand S48.
Scottish Procurement Alliance: The Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) is preparing to procure its £129m Retrofit and Decarbonisation framework to support local authorities, housing associations, education and other public bodies with energy efficiency and decarbonisation. Anticipated workstreams include building insulation, heating and ventilation, building control and management systems, and solar PV and electrical.
Veolia: SDP will also share information on Veolia's Scottish Suppliers Energy Expansion. Veolia is seeking capable Scottish suppliers for a growing pipeline of long-term projects exceeding £70m, with typical contract terms of 15–20 years. Areas of interest include systems integration and plant management, electrical and mechanical installation, mechanical and electrical design-and-build services, building management systems, and civil, structural and architectural design.
To learn more about these and other opportunities, visit SDP at stand S48 during All-Energy on 13–14 May 2026. Register for your free visitor badge before 6 May.
