Scot JCB will unveil new JCB models at Stand E11 on 24–25 April and host the Scottish heat of the JCB Operator Challenge at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston.
The dealer will be back at ScotPlant 2026, showcasing the latest JCB innovations and running the regional Operator Challenge, which will test competitors' precision and machine control.
Visitors to Stand E11 can explore a broad selection of JCB equipment, including some of the newest additions designed to boost efficiency, performance and reliability across construction and infrastructure work.
Headlining the line-up is the new JCB A60EH articulated boom lift, a hybrid access platform built to carry greater loads while maximising productivity and efficiency. Powered by eight 6V AGM batteries supported by a 14.8kW Kohler engine, the 60ft boom delivers enhanced lift capacity, advanced monitoring and exceptional efficiency. It offers a maximum working height of 20.3 metres and an outreach of 11.9 metres, setting a new benchmark in hybrid access platforms.
Also on display will be the JCB VM118D single drum soil compactor, the first in a new generation of vibratory rollers. Delivering market-leading performance with lower fuel consumption, the VM118D is the world's first 12-tonne class single drum roller with a 55kW engine that requires no DEF, lowering total cost of ownership. Suited to applications from road building to foundations and rail infrastructure, it features a 2,100mm drum width, operating weight up to 13,500kg and 55 percent gradeability.
For heavy earthmoving, the JCB 370X tracked excavator will be on show. This 35–40 tonne class machine is engineered for the toughest sites, with a maximum digging depth of 8.36 metres, 240kW engine power and a bucket capacity of up to 2.1m³, delivering durability and productivity on demanding projects.
The stand will also include a selection of mini, midi and tracked excavators, dumpers and Loadall telescopic handlers, underlining the breadth of solutions available for construction, plant hire and infrastructure customers across Scotland.
The Scottish heat of the JCB Operator Challenge returns in 2026, with skilled operators tackling two timed trials designed to assess precision and handling. The top three finishers will qualify for the UK final at the JCB Quarry in July, where the overall winner will be named JCB Operator of the Year 2026 and receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to New York.
Operators can register online at: www.jcb.com/en-GB/campaigns/2026/operator-challenge-2026/ or simply turn up on the day to take part.
Guests can also enjoy Scot JCB's hospitality in the Scot JCB marquee, with opportunities to meet the team and learn more about the latest machines.
Iain Bryant, Joint Managing Director of Scot JCB, said: "ScotPlant is one of the most important events in the Scottish construction calendar and a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with customers from across the industry. We are delighted to be returning in 2026 with a strong line-up of the latest JCB machines and to once again host the Scottish heat of the JCB Operator Challenge. It's always a brilliant competition that showcases the incredible skill of machine operators, and we're looking forward to seeing some great talent on display."
