Osprey Housing is funding a new-build scheme to extend its presence across Moray as part of its strategy for growth through development.
The 12 properties at the Firth Rise project in Hopeman will provide quality accommodation for families, couples and individuals, and represent Osprey's latest partnership with local builder Tulloch of Cummingston.
Osprey CEO Stacy Angus said: "We are really pleased to be able to continue to develop much- needed homes in Moray.
"Committing to developing in rural areas such as Hopeman — where small numbers of new homes can have a really significant impact — is part of our strategic ambitions."
She added: "Ensuring we deliver quality homes in the right locations is our priority, and this opportunity to work alongside a local SME developer delivers all aspects. We have worked with Tulloch on several other developments, building a good relationship, most recently our 38 Kinnedar homes in Lossiemouth."
Blair Tulloch, Operations Manager with Tulloch of Cummingston, said: "With Scotland facing a national housing emergency, we are proud to contribute practical, sustainable, and energy-efficient solutions that support individuals, families, and the wider community.
"We look forward to working with Osprey Housing once again to deliver these new homes in Hopeman and to strengthen the important relationship our organisations have shared over many years."
Construction has just started on the Firth Rise homes in Hopeman, which comprise four one-bedroom bungalows, plus two two-bedroom, four three-bedroom and two four-bedroom semi-detached houses. They are due for completion in September 2026 [TBC], with the first tenants moving in soon afterwards.
Ms Angus said: "Hopeman is a very high demand area, particularly for family homes. These properties will be let in partnership with the local authority as we continue to work collaboratively with Moray Council to meet housing need in the region. We also use choice- based letting system These Homes, which assists us in building sustainable communities."
The total cost of the development is £2,460,000, of which the Scottish Government has allocated £1,671,082 in Housing Association Grant through its Affordable Housing Supply Programme, with Osprey providing the remaining funding to deliver the project.
Osprey's 12 homes form part of the wider 75-property Firth Rise development, with the remaining homes being offered for private sale.
