Allied Surveyors Scotland Announces Partnership With OS Capture

Allied Surveyors Scotland has confirmed a major new strategic collaboration with OS Capture, making it the first surveying practice in the UK to integrate the company's advanced digital workflow and capture technology.

The partnership, which has taken over two years to develop and finalise, will see the OS Capture platform deployed throughout Allied Surveyors Scotland's expansive operations, supporting more than 80 surveyors across its 30 regional offices.

The new OS Capture platform represents a significant technological leap for surveying delivery across Scotland. It fuses sophisticated technology with an intuitive, market-leading user experience, providing surveyors with a clearer, more efficient, and tactile method for managing and recording information while on site. This user-centred approach is set to enhance confidence, consistency, and overall accuracy throughout the entire process.

Claudia Miquel, head of product at OS Capture, expressed her pleasure at formalising the relationship with their inaugural official partner: "Allied's reputation, scale and forward-thinking approach make them a perfect partner for OS Capture. We've created a platform that brings clarity, precision and an intuitive sense of flow to the surveying process – putting surveyors at the heart of a digital experience that supports consistent, high-quality outcomes. Partnering with Allied is an incredibly exciting next step for us."

Grant Robertson, chairman of Allied Surveyors Scotland, reflected on the broader implications of the move within the context of his long career: "Surveying has evolved enormously over the decades. From traditional manual methods to today's powerful digital technologies, the pace of change has been extraordinary. Partnering with OS Capture is the next natural step. It allows us to embrace innovation, invest in our people, and provide our clients with the most advanced solutions available. This is a huge opportunity for the future of our business and for the profession as a whole."

The Director of Operations at Allied Surveyors Scotland, Kevin Keane, highlighted the direct benefits for the business's clients and internal operations: "Partnering with OS Capture marks a major step forward in how we deliver accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service to our clients across Scotland. With advanced digital capture and streamlined workflows, our colleagues can focus on what matters most: producing the highest-quality reports and setting new standards in surveying excellence. The feedback so far is overwhelmingly positive."

In the weeks prior to the official launch, Mr Keane and Ms Miquel travelled across the country, providing direct support to employees through a structured training programme. The implementation followed a carefully managed, four-week, phased rollout approach to ensure teams were supported at every stage, focusing on practical guidance and hands-on learning. This supportive and collaborative delivery model, designed to build capability steadily rather than through an abrupt launch, has received widespread praise across the business.

By becoming the first firm to adopt this new technology, Allied Surveyors Scotland is reaffirming its status as a leader in the surveying profession, laying the groundwork for a more future-ready, connected, and efficient industry.
