Clark Contracts Ltd will lead the construction of 137 new council homes on the site of the former Denny High School in Falkirk, with work scheduled to begin in December 2025.
The £35.5 million development, delivered over two phases, is expected to be completed by November 2028.
The project, supported by £12.6 million from the Scottish Government and £1.2 million in developer contributions, will provide a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes for social rent.
Phase one will deliver 106 homes along with new roads, services and landscaping to support a second phase of 31 further properties.
Thirty-two of the homes will be designed for enhanced accessibility, including 25 properties for residents with mobility issues and seven specifically for wheelchair users. All homes will meet high environmental standards, featuring sustainability measures such as solar panels to generate electricity.
Clark Contracts recently completed Falkirk Council's Japp Gardens development in Polmont and will once again work closely with the Council to deliver modern, energy-efficient housing that meets local needs.
Councillor Gary Bouse, Falkirk Council's spokesperson for Housing, said: "Following on the heels of the new homes in Hallglen, this development represents a major investment in Denny area, creating high-quality, energy efficient and sustainable council housing that reflects the real needs of local people.
"From family homes to wheelchair-accessible properties, this development will provide opportunities for many different households and strengthen the community for the long term."
