CCG (Scotland) has celebrated a remarkable achievement at the Scottish Home Awards 2025, securing four prestigious accolades that underscore its leadership in the construction and manufacturing sector.
The wins highlight the company's commitment to delivering innovative, high-performing housing across all tenures, coupled with a strong focus on quality, social value, and environmental responsibility.
For the second consecutive year, CCG was presented with the Excellence in Sustainability award. This continued recognition acknowledges the firm's pioneering work in low-carbon construction and offsite manufacturing. CCG’s proprietary 'iQ' Timber System stands out as one of the most advanced of its kind in the UK, while its Net Zero Home build standard consistently sets new benchmarks for sustainable housing delivery throughout Scotland. With over 1,200 low-carbon or net-zero homes currently under construction and groundbreaking Whole-Life Carbon research, CCG remains at the forefront of the industry's green transition.
The company also received the Housing Regeneration Project of the Year award for the Water Row development in Govan, a joint achievement with partners Govan Housing Group and Collective Architecture. Following a recent win at the Homes for Scotland Awards, Water Row continues to be lauded as a transformative regeneration success. Completed in 2024, the 92-unit, mid-market rental development notably integrates community-focused commercial space and was one of Glasgow’s first residential projects to adopt an all-electric energy strategy. Designed with place-making at its core, the project effectively reconnects Govan and Partick via the newly opened footbridge, revitalising a key town centre location in Glasgow.
Further recognition came with Social Housing Development of the Year (Small <100 units), awarded to Langlands Road. Also located in Govan, this development was entirely delivered by CCG, from land acquisition through to design and build, in partnership with MAST Architects on behalf of Trust Housing Association.
Completing the impressive tally for the night was Housing Development of the Year (Large Private Sale), which was granted to CCG’s client, igloo Regeneration, and design teams Stallan Brand and Ann Nisbet Studio, for Maltings Wynd in Dundashill. This 78-home project is a vital part of the Dundashill regeneration masterplan, showcasing design-led urban housing that has significantly contributed to transforming the former industrial area into a vibrant, modern neighbourhood.
David Wylie, Managing Director of CCG, commented on the accolades: "These awards are a huge honour for our business and our partners. Each project represents a different aspect of our capabilities—from land-led delivery and sustainable construction to large-scale regeneration and design excellence. Our strength lies in our integrated approach and our people, and these wins are a testament to their efforts, and what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to creating lasting value for communities across Scotland."
