Clark Contracts has opened applications for trainee and apprentice positions following its 9th annual Careers Events, which attracted a wide range of potential candidates from high school leavers to university students. The events, held in both the East and West of Scotland during Scottish Apprenticeship Week, provided attendees with insights into careers at Clark Contracts and the broader construction industry.
The company's Recruitment and HR Manager delivered presentations on the Clark Contracts Academy and its training opportunities, showcasing examples of staff members who progressed from apprenticeships to management roles.
Available trainee positions include office-based Modern Apprenticeships, Trainee Estimators, Trainee Site Managers, and Trainee Quantity Surveyors. Trade apprenticeships are offered for Joiners and Painter & Decorators. Interested individuals can apply via the company's website.
Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director of Clark Contracts, said: "We are delighted to have hosted our 9th annual careers events, and had the opportunity to speak to so many bright individuals interested in careers in the construction industry. These careers events are key to our recruitment and development strategy and we look forward to welcoming our new trainees and apprentices into our academy this year.”
