Dundashill Plot 3A, Scotland's largest Passivhaus-accredited residential development, has added another accolade to its list of achievements. The project recently won the CIH Housing Award for 'Excellence in Regeneration & Sustainability.'
Located in north Glasgow, Dundashill Plot 3A is the first phase of the wider Dundashill Regeneration Masterplan. The development comprises 90 energy-efficient, affordable homes designed by Collective Architecture.
A key feature of the project is its commitment to sustainability. The development employs an entirely non-gas energy strategy, relying on renewable energy sources for heating and hot water. The Passivhaus standard ensures exceptional thermal performance, significantly reducing energy consumption and associated carbon emissions.
This latest award follows the Scottish Home Award for 'Excellence in Sustainability' that Dundashill Plot 3A received in September 2024. The recognition highlights the project's innovative approach to sustainable housing and its positive impact on the local community.
Commenting on the 2024 CIH award winners, CIH Scotland director Callum Chomczuk, said: "My heartfelt congratulations to all our award winners and nominees. Once again, we have acknowledged an extremely high standard in these awards, and that reflects the innovation and dedication across the housing sector in Scotland.
"The Scotland Housing Awards and the Good Practice Compendium continue to be at the heart of CIH Scotland's commitment to sharing good practice and building a community of housing professionals who go above and beyond to make a difference to all of our lives."
