CCG project Queens Quay has been shortlisted for this year's Brick Awards.

Celebrating the world's greatest brick architecture, The Brick Awards ceremony will take place on November 8th and will feature 18 hotly-contested categories judged by an exceptionally credentialed panel.

Designed by MAST Architects, Queens Quay is a 146-home development that forms part of the large-scale, mixed-use regeneration of the former John Brown Shipyard in Clydebank. The project has been shortlisted for the 'Urban Regeneration' category.

The development consists of a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom flats spread across two blocks that reach six stories. Queens Quay is a highly energy-efficient development thanks to the use of CCG's advanced, closed panel timber system known as 'iQ', and a hugely innovative district heating energy network.

The development utilises the largest water source heat pump system of its kind in Scotland which is hosted within a £20m energy centre located along the banks of the River Clyde and managed by Vital Energi.

Delivered by CCG on behalf of Loretto, a member of the Wheatley Group, West Dunbartonshire Council, and Clydebank Housing Association, the project recently won a prestigious SILVER award for Regeneration at this year's Scottish Design Awards.
