Three projects from CCG have been announced as finalists at this year's GIA Awards, set to take place live in person on the 25th of November 2021.
Craigmillar Town Centre – the 194-home Craigmillar Town Centre is the latest phase of housing-led regeneration located in the town of Craigmillar, Edinburgh. Delivered in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council and designed by Anderson Bell Christie, the widely-recognised project has been nominated in the Residential (Large) category.
Nethan Street – Located in the heart of Govan, the Nethan Street development has brought 82 much-needed family homes to the local community and was designed by MAST Architects. Comprising a mix of 70 one and two-bedroom flats, and 12, two and three-bedroom, two-storey houses for social rent, the development was officially handed over to Elderpark Housing in April 2021. Nethan Street has also been nominated in the Residential (Large) category.
Hills Trust – Designed by MAST Architects, the Category B-listed Hills Trust Primary School is a local landmark for the Govan community and is the new headquarters for Elderpark Housing. Situated adjacent to the Nethan Street development, the project is comprised of a unique conservation as well as an extensive upgrade and remodel that offers Elderpark Housing a truly bespoke working environment. The Hills Trust site has been nominated in the Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure & Retail category.
CCG congratulated their architectural partners on each project on their nomination as well as everyone involved in the delivery of these projects.
