Investigation works are progressing to confirm the feasibility of flood alleviation proposals for Aberdeen's Merchant Quarter.
Following work in February and March, Scottish Water and its Alliance Partner amey-Black & Veatch (aBV) will carry out localised ground investigation work from Saturday 30 March.
A lane closure will be in place on Trinity Quay, westbound, for up to two weeks, coinciding with the school Easter holiday period.
A further week of work will then take place from 14 April, during which Shore Brae will be closed to traffic.
aBV Project Manager Bruce Macgregor said: "The investigation work we have been carrying out is needed to make sure we identify the right solution to reduce the risk of storm flooding on a long-term basis – and understand any potential challenges as early as possible.
"It has been a key priority throughout to work with the City Council to minimise disruption for road users as far as we can in what is a very busy area. That meant keeping to our agreed programme as closely as possible and scheduling this further work affecting Trinity Quay for the school holiday period."
