Plans have been submitted to transform the old Tullis Russell Paper Mill site in Fife into a new 850-home housing development.
The development will include 85 affordable homes along with further plans for the 52-acre site to feature retail and leisure facilities, business space, industrial units, a care home and an extension to the Riverside Park.
The site, between Glenrothes and Markinch, will also connect to Glenrothes town centre.
It is estimated that the regeneration project will deliver a £42.5 million boost for Glenrothes, creating up to 450 jobs and employment for around 300 construction workers during the 10-year build programme.
Lead planning consultant Barton Willmore worked closely with Advance Construction (GD) to develop the plans, providing town planning, masterplanning, landscape, environmental impact assessment and socio-economic assessment services for the project.
