West Lothian Council are inviting residents submit their views on a 'masterplan' which identifies issues and potential future projects for north of the River Almond in Livingston.
Last year, the Central Scotland Green Network Development Fund awarded a £20,000 grant to the council to enable a study in the area along the main water-courses, associated pathways and green corridors (woodlands, parks, etc).
Mike Hyatt Landscape Architects, which were appointed by the council to develop the 'masterplan', have now produced a first draft along with some ideas Mott MacDonald hydrologists who have been surveying the waterways.
The council is now seeking feedback on the draft plans, as well as people's own views on the 'blue-green network'.
Drop-in sessions for residents to view the plans in person and speak to some of the team will be held at
• Almond Valley Heritage Centre cafe, 12pm – 4pm, Thursday 01 February
• Livingston Station Community Centre, 10am – 1pm, Wednesday, 07 February
All information, including plans and a feedback form, can be found here.
