Work is continuing on a new housing development in North Sighthill, Edinburgh.
The Broomview development, which replaces the historic Sighthill Towers, is part of a £35 million regeneration project to help address housing needs across the city.
Keepmoat Homes are building 73 homes on the site, as well as 59 apartments and 184 'affordable' housing units, which will be made available to Edinburgh City Council.
Sandy McBride from Keepmoat Homes said interest in the development has been strong following a successful sales release launch in September.
"Despite the development being in its infancy and even without the presence of a show home as yet, the number of off-plan sales and homes being reserved has been very strong and encouraging," he said.
"The lack of regeneration and investment in the area in recent years has meant there is a real need for new quality housing in the area; this has been apparent through the high level of early interest at the launch event and is something we're pleased to be able to address."
The first council homes are set to be available for rent from early 2019.
