The Chartered Institute of Housing in Scotland (CIH Scotland) has strengthened its senior team by appointing three new Board members.
Joining the company are Natalie Grainger of Home Group Ltd, Paul Murphy of Wheatley Group and Sue Shone of Link Housing.
The appointees were introduced at a member's lunch hosted by CIHS Board Chair Amanda Britain.
Ms Grainger is Service Development Manager at Home Group and has considerable housing and business change experience. Recently, she delivered a programme of business change to protect rental income and minimise customer arrears for a national housing provider. She also previously worked at CIH as Policy and Practice Manager between 2011 and 2013.
Mr Murphy is currently a Community Governance Co-ordinator at Wheatley, which includes responsibility for managing stakeholder relationships as well as developing new networks and relationships to help improve service delivery. He was also employed by The Tenant Participation Advisory Service and was responsible for developing tenant participation strategies and engagement frameworks.
Ms Shone is a Housing Services Co-ordinator at Link Housing. She has worked across 10 different council areas during her career, incorporating developments located as far apart as Luss and Alva.
Amanda Britain, Chair of CIH Scotland, said: "We are delighted to welcome three new board members from such diverse backgrounds and experience. They all share our commitment to the profession and the central role of housing in people's lives, and I know that their wealth of experience across the sector will be invaluable as we go forward.
"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Kenny Simpson and Suzie Scott, who are standing down from the board, for their great support and active contribution."
