Work on a £320,000 bridge project in Moray is now complete.
The new road bridge on Speyside replaced the previous two-span structure after an investigation in 2012 found that the steel frame and timber decking bridge was not viable.
Work on the project started in June and involved demolishing the old bridge before construction on its replacement got under way. As part of the scheme, the C59H between Glenallachie and Edinvillie was closed to traffic for more than four months and diversions were in operation.
The development was carried out in partnership with Moray Council, the Spey Fisheries Board, Scottish Natural Heritage and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
Council engineer Alasdair Donnelly, who oversaw the project, said: "The diversions which have been in place will have caused some inconvenience but I hope everyone will agree that the new bridge has been worth the wait."
